Last year before taking SPM,
I was pretty certain what I wanted to do in degree,
which was Civil Engineering that I am currently pursuing.
But then today,
when I had an enjoyable conversation with my friend,
she said that I don't like an engineer but a medic.
I actually have thought about this question since the commencement of MUFY,
and I have kept on trying to escape finding an answer for this question as far as possible,
because the answer is not easy to find.
The reason I chose Civil Engineering as my degree is because my dad is half an engineer,
and furthering something related to him definitely leaves me impossible to be jobless.
But the problem is I am not really into Engineering,
like I don't care about how a bridge is constructed,
I don't want to know what materials are used in building a highway and so on.

We all think that we have the opportunity to choose our major, or our future occupation.
but it is not like that,
because we grow up all the time,
and our perceptions change throughout our growth too.
The decision that we make today is not surely the desirable decision we wish we had made tomorrow.
Regardless how much we like our degree,
we cannot guarantee that we will still love it at 30.
We just try to make the decision that we will love the longest.

But friends,
just a kindly reminder here,
please take time to consider your major nicely and thoroughly,
because it is your future and basically you are choosing what you are going to do for the next 30 years.
