Feeling extremely drained after the Freshies Night,
but I just don't want to sleep and I don't know why,
maybe the overwhelming excitement and craziness are still swimming in my brain.
But I think the main reason I'm still wide awake is,
I want to put this ordinarily awesome party into words,
before I wake up tomorrow and forget every single stupid and mad and memorable and great thing that I've done.
So I and my friend, Jia Xin entered the party at 8,
and the first damn song I heard was Sparks Fly,
well they really know how to impress Swifties,
or at least I was impressed.
After I got a small marshmallow and a cup of maybe-mango juice,
all I did in the party was just dance.
The dance could be divided to two parts.
First was normal performances,
students showed their talents on the stage with modern pop songs,
and people danced to the rhythms and beats.
Second one was rave,
rave is usually the best part of a party,
people get hyped and most thrilled and dance to the catchy electronic songs in this section,
but this time the rave happened to be the worst rave that I've ever seen,
first the electronic songs weren't heavy enough,
and the DJs were just lousy.
and the audience booed and even sat on the floor to make silent protest.
But overall the experience was nice,
I mean you don't walk into a party in university or college and expect to have the best day of your life,
that's why I didn't set high expectation on the party,
so despite its atrocious quality,
I still think it's just acceptably and understandably atrocious.
