Thousand of things to say.
China Trip and Orientation Day.
Honestly,
I wanna say both but I think I can't make it,
merely because of my laziness.
But both are interesting.
So I gotta choose,
it goes Orientation Day.
Yesterday I watched football until 2,
so when I woke up at 5,
my pimples became reddish,
plus haggardness struck me throughout the day.
My dark circles were mammoth.
My mum advised me not to drive.
But I insisted that I was gonna drive.
Finally, I drove alone.
The jam in Subang Jaya was dreadful.
I spent 1.5 hours sitting in the car doing nothing,
apart from singing Taylor Swift's 1989.
And then I got a lil lost in the way to Sunway College,
so I eventually decided to park at Sunway Pyramid,
and took a 'canopy walk' to the college.
As everyone knows,
gay orientation starts with gay ice breaking.
But strangely,
I loved that ice breaking today.
It went this way.
Everyone had to stick an A4 paper on his/her back,
and then strangers came to write sth on it.
So you couldn't see what other people wrote for you.
And I got about 15 comments, which consist of:
2 handsome (they wrote this because they got nothing else to write and wanted to ditch me asap)
2 shy (it was acceptable because I know I was always bashful, for unknown reason)
1 tall (ludicrous, but I think it's from the short girl)
2 cheerful (I always am)
1 funny (*roll my eyes, pls we hadn't even talked, maybe it referred to my face)
1 HOT! (For no reason I love this)
several friendly and smart.
Next section was boring.
It's seem-useful-but-no-one-ever-listened motivational talk.
And the directors talked a lot of gibberish and clichés,
as most of the old men do,
like word hard play hard, no pain no gain sort of.
A certain level of boredom that I couldn't stand.
So I took out my phone quietly,
and texted my friends who seemed to be able to reply me.
Lunch was one of the best parts.
There are amazingly bountiful cafes and mamaks and fast food restaurants.
And Sunway Pyramid.
*drooling
Next four years will be amazing,
I think,
because of food.
Had English placement test and Mathematics placement test in the next place.
It decides our standard of particular subject,
and classifies us into several classes, I guess.
I think I did well both,
especially Math,
it was easy enough to make me feel I could get all correct. *Not being arrogant.
After that,
I went to Sunway Pyramid,
as my friends and I decided to go there after our first day of orientation,
and then we talked about our respective orientations.
My friend said that there are many hot guys and girls in Taylor's college.
I am envious of it of course,
because honestly there aren't plenty of them in my school.
And Taylor somehow successfully helped their students to know each other,
or at least more successfully than Sunway did.
I then went to shop for a little while,
alone.
Books. Music. Shoes. Clothes.
The way back home was in jam too.
Tomorrow I am gonna drive off at 6a.m..
To avoid jam.
You don't know how killing it is.
Then probably I'll read some book in the library.
Currently reading If I Stay.
Summary of my first day of orientation
6am go to school
7pm arrive at home, eat/bath/update blog
9pm read the info school gave us
10pm sleep
But one way or another,
I love college life.
I think I made the right choice,
for leaving in Senior 2.
I love talking to Indians,
I love the food around here,
I love doing crazy things,
I love talking in English,
I love knowing international students,
I love the environment,
I love the facilities provided,
I love sneaking at beautiful girls (Can I say this?)
I love everything.
Except the jam.
